We work with schools to design customised student leadership programs that embody the schools values and the needs of their student demographic.

  • I attended the leadership camp towards the end of 2023 run by The Growth Hunting Company. My mind was preoccupied with school, classwork, and the typical concerns of a Year 11 student. Alongside my fellow student leaders, I embarked on this journey with Jarrod, where we were able to connect and discuss topics that wouldn't usually come up during school hours surrounded by our friends.

During the camp, I fully engaged in all activities, from team-building exercises to bus trips where we played fun but perplexing logic games like Whoops Johnny. One standout activity was "My Pressure Story," where I shared what causes me stress and pressure, helping me build stronger connections with my peers and gain a deeper understanding of them.

Each activity seamlessly flowed into the next, keeping everything relevant and meaningful to the group. Throughout the leadership training, I learned a tremendous amount in a short period. I am very grateful for the opportunity to participate in this leadership training program.

  • Having attended a Student Leadership Camp run by Growth Hunting, I can confidently say it was an invaluable experience. The facilitators expertly created an atmosphere conducive to sincerity when needed, while also providing opportunities for informal connection through fun moments and games. Overall, I gained genuine insight into myself and the fellow leaders I would be working alongside in the coming year.

  • In my leadership training with Growth Hunting, I learnt numerous things about myself that I would not have within the classroom or in other learning environments. Many of the learning and leadership activities we did were interwoven with other fun activities and it was this balance that really enabled me to push myself towards growth whilst also giving me the opportunity to discover a greater sense of self in other ways. The “My Pressure Story” activity that I did within the camp still resonates with me today for it allowed me to not only be in tune with myself, but also enabled me to take accountability for the pressures within my life. This activity culminated in me being empowered to step outside my comfort zone and embrace vulnerability, all whilst feeling supported and inspired. Particularly throughout the leadership training, in his facilitation and leadership, Jarrod's enthusiasm and courageous leadership was contagious, and he fostered an amazing environment where we could all introspect, have fun, and grow in our own ways.
